Terry Richardson is an American photographer renown for his use of compact cameras. He is also known for his provocative, and sometimes explicit, photography style. Richardson is also noted for his use of snapshot aesthetic, where his subjects are shot with no apparent link from image to image and rely on juxtaposition and disjunction.
He has shot ad campaigns for companies ranging from fashion houses, including Gucci, Prada, and Hugo Boss, to streetwear brands, including Supreme, Stussy, and Hysteric Glamour. He has also worked extensively with many high profile celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Macaulay Culkin, Kanye West, Jessica Alba, Marc Jacobs, and Lenny Kravitz.
