I, like many other kids who grew up in the 90’s, enjoyed watching the Dragon Ball anime on TV. I have many fond memories of Goku and the gang fighting evil villains all across the universe. Even though I got pretty mad at them stretching out single battles over 10+ episodes, I still loved every minute of it.
Now it seems that Hollywood is trying to singlehandedly crush one of my fondest childhood memories. When I heard that they were making a Dragon Ball movie, I had my doubts. From the beginning, the potential for failure vastly outweighed the possibility of the movie being good or even decent. After seeing this photo of who they casted for Goku and how he will look like in the movie, I have absolutely zero desire to go see this guaranteed abomination of a movie. This is basically 21 Part 2. Cast everyone as Asian except the main character. He must be white. MUST. Some might say that “Oh, Goku was an alien, he’s not Asian.” Ask yourself this though, “Does this guy look right as Goku?”
Please do not support Hollywood and their constant attempts at destroying childhood memories. Do not watch this movie.

Yeah i have my doubts about that it wont be good. But i still think that ill check it out for the special effects.
digging your tags. haha. this is like speed racer all over again. damn hollywood.
Jamie Chung?! She definitely went to Lowell…. Real World definitely gave her a boost with her “career”. And wait, tell me WHY IS Goku casted as a white person? If anything, everyone should be asian because Dragon Ball Z is asian.
